What Is Old Bottle Of Chivas Worth

Promises in Tecnodivas

few months ago I was contacted M ª Carmen Pérez del blog Tecnodivas . I meant to reply to questions by email, and from there, and the other women bloggers who would answer would take a series of articles on the role of women in the web 2.0. Yesterday, we published the first, entitled " Tecnología sin género.

Poned en Google las palabras "mujeres y tecnología" y el primer artículo que sale in the search is one that published the second month of having opened this blog, titled exactly as follows: Women and Technology .

This is certainly the most satisfying post has given me since two years ago I decided to write what they thought in public. Eduardo Larequi first quoted him, then I left a comment itself Amaya Rodrigo key in his own hand, I wrote from the blog "We are not afraid of mice" . But I am surprised that so few articles on the net on the subject, so that the mine has to leave first.

Not interested in talking about the few developers who are in the world? Or that when you put "girl" + "firefox" in Google will release a gorgeous chick Samantha Fox to teaching part of her breasts before the red fox logo? Do not want to talk about the pile of messages our children hear every day, such as "do not cry, you look like a girl" or "do not be pussy?

As a teacher and mother I think that training and education are the basis of gender equality at all levels, not just technology. But education depends on many factors, and is given from many areas: school, family, environment. I've always been surprised that an educated society women (Mothers and teachers) is so macho ... What are we doing wrong? Did we pass the stale same patriarchal values, generation after generation? Women have an obligation to make the values \u200b\u200bchange, but how? Leading by example, of course, but it is so difficult ... How can I convince my students to choose technical careers, if I did not I?

I hope you like the article, and to put our two cents as teachers we are forming the character of the twenty-first century citizens that our girls have the same opportunities as their peers. Each

Cramps Bleeding Between Periods

's smile Juan Sánchez-Enciso

always rewarding to get a little treat, and if this is a book, then all the better for those of us letters.

Para alguien como yo, con tanto que aprender sobre education, teaching, teaching life in general ... anyone hear about the likes of Sanchez-Enciso is a lesson of savoir faire. Its so sweet and friendly style, coupled with the lucidity of his ideas reminded me of someone who had known this course at a conference . And you where to look, that I am that person, Jaume Carbonell, is the prologue of The smile ...
For a teacher, reading the book is meeting a mirror of everyday reality. And to be reflected in some situations, you will blush, shame, a smile, a tear drop. All teachers should write our smiles of Plato, some already do from time to time in their blogs.

Tomorrow is September 25 presentation of the book in the library Alibri (the Herder of life, come on). I can not attend, but from here I want to send my warmest greetings John, and thank the gift of the book.
And there are many more cafes in Blanes, near the sea. Addenda

Freedom Day Software

Leo
official page Linkat today September 20th is the day of freedom software, and I want my blog to join the celebration. We can not fail to recognize that the widespread use of ICT to broad sectors of society (and hence of new knowledge) and the free software and / or free hand go together. How many of us would have a blog if we had to pay? Who would have a Joomla or Moodle? How about the Wikipedia? And so much more.

So I find, frankly, less surprising as it may be people who are against free software (and, as you read). It is a reality, a bit sad but true, that the degree of acceptance and use of SL is directly proportional to the knowledge and mastery of computer systems.

Among the people around me, especially co-workers, meeting daily the following comments (for example):

"place more strange! The computer room has no profes Word " When it would be rare, given that the official copy we have is 99 and was sent to the secretariat computer. It will not install pirated copies should be quite rare.

"When you are installing a word processor rather" normal "?" My answer is always that my word processor "normal" is what is installed, Open Office, which is what I use, usually a few years ago. But of course, have to see what normal is normal, if yours or mine ...

"I can not use Linux because I can not instalármelo at home . I'm sick over and over again to explain the difference between program and operating system. Clear that ordinary mortals do not know to install Linux at home, we also install Windows from scratch. Raise your hand if you have formatted and installed the OS of your computer! Do not try to change Windows for Linux if you do not have the necessary knowledge. The thing is as simple as using the same free software on both Windows and Linux. If you want to record sound with Audacity, for instance, what does it matter when you leave your computer open the Linkat already have it installed? "That little icon is not on the same site or not is the same color and there to look?

"You can not force people to use the Open Office sending files. Odt" . This really is great. That is, when you send a file. Doc does not force anyone, but give him total freedom. Freedom of pirating the Word of a neighbor, ask him or computer coordinator of the center, or e-mule download it (this is the preferred choice of students).

"Open Office sucks when you open a file (. Doc, of course, they are" files, in his prime "), move all" . Yes, that's what has to change the format a document. When you try to do the opposite, open a. Odt in Word do not move anything, because you do not open it directly. Is it about the payment, you only want if you are "one of us." Sometimes I try to explain that if you have installed the two packages, which has been hacked and can be downloaded freely over the Internet, because you do not have these problems, but ...

Honestly, there are many days when I get tired ... I get very tired of having to justify myself to do things the way I think is most correct. If it was just a matter of personal ideology surely continue to act like I do, that is definitely supporting the use of SL and respecting who does not think like me. But not about ideology, but of legality.

How To Fix Brazilian Weave

new year teacher

Lo mismo con los Chinois that passes, the New Year no empieza January 1 for teachers, but on 1 September. So here we are in a new stage of this obstacle course. We
the first day the initial faculty, brown, smiling, kissing. The bad feelings and stress have been passed by diluting sea water, air or mountaineering trip to Eurodisney (a guess).

This August, among other things, I made a total detoxification of everything that had anything to do with technology (or blogs, or chats, or social networks, or even open the mail, I tell it all .) I needed that. Personally, the end of last year with Congress, his Ning network, workshops, ... for me was exhausting.

I took another week to get away to Zaragoza Expo, taking advantage of the hospitality of Yolanda Sediles (Zaragoza's pro) and his family. But you see where we agree in space and in time also to Ana and Lu. Well, that corner of the Expo will put "little Blanes.

One of the things I liked about the Expo was Carlos Saura's documentary on the flag of Aragon. As everything is on Youtube, here you can see and hear the jack end.

From this humble space, I throw the world slogan to be visited Aragon, especially Zaragoza, which is beautiful. The great thing about these events, which improve citizen consideramblemente infrastructure. Well, have you Zaragoza beach and all ... I say no more. But if anything else is to visit this land is for the kindness and sympathy of the hands, with what you spend great and you laugh a lot. From here a big kiss Eduardo, Joaquín and Chon, friends I had Ana Zaragoza and Yolanda, and we did Cicero.

I said, the new year begins ... I wear highly cultured, and Horacio quote (that I studied Latin): "Do not want to know what lies future Leucon ... seize the day "as ale! to use the time, and what has to be will be.

Summer School l 'SS

last week with the beginning of the month started the" Summer School "of l'AEIC Association organizing training courses for teachers. I have the honor of being in the lineup, participating as a trainer on a course of "web 2.0 tools .

The welcome of course (I know that for all courses) could not be better. There are fifty-odd registered (unfortunately not been able to meet all requests) and breathe in the environment the desire to learn and enter the world of ICT. We have started opening a blog, and now learn how to insert documents, photos, presentations, audio, video, ... kit "survival TIC" go. Copying an idea by Antonio Alonso, with whom I shared a workshop on Library 2.0 Dynamism in the Virtual Congress of Internet in the classroom, I opened a blog where Feevy link to blogs of all participants. If you want to take a look:

But what I really want to encourage in this course is not so much the use of a specific ICT tool, but the application that this tool can be the classroom. That which we read blogs usually teachers learn from the experiences that explain our partners. For this, besides the tasks of each module of the course, ask the participants to design a teaching sequence with some of the tools to learn. And sharing all of that will, hopefully, the most interesting of the course.

PS: After writing this post, I start to correct homework and have already learned something new from a participant: A tool for creating concept maps on line: Go Comapping

How Much To Rent A Sailboat?

Meme on happiness

After the maelstrom of the final course, with Virtual Congress included, I have taken this bridge of Sant Joan ( sorry for communities that have not had) as a mini-vacation avant la letre fully unplugged computers, emails, and sms. Well, anything that is not cocaine, champagne and beach.
When I opened the mail, I find this meme in which I have imbloglucrado Lu (the buzzword is yours) and Angus .

The rules are:

-link to the person who invites us
-list six unimportant things that make us happy
-
to state rules, to elect six people to continue with the challenge
-Leave a comment on

your blog

This meme has reminded me film Things that make life worth (2004) by Manuel Gómez Pereira. The leitmotif of the movie are the voice-overs for Gemma Nierga e Iñaki Gabilondo listing precisely those little things that make us happy.

Well here are mine:

1. Look at my son when he does not know that I'm looking, and hallucinations every day with the mystery of life to think how that little thing round and wrinkled that once fit in the palms of my hands can now be an autonomous being spoken Read ... dreams of their own.

2. Read on the beach. There is nothing that makes me feel as good as those Sunday afternoons indolence in which devoured reams between dip and dip.

3. Drinking coffee with my friends and kick back and half the human and divine. I remember Isabel Allende in her autobiographical novel The sum of days says that every woman should have that circle of special friends with whom to share things. Totally agree.

4. Play flamenco. As a sample, of Aute Al alba, versioned by José Mercé. Creeps, fixed.

5. Sing. I think it is the gift by which the gods wanted to give me, good voice. So just dare me at home in the car, in karaokes ...

6. Go to work. No ... no, no one misunderstand me. I'm not a workaholic. I enjoy my moments of rest, I'm not working at all hours. I mean every day I feel well go to a job I like, relate to people around me, learn, help people enhance ... in short the human side of work.

Well, now comes the hard part, since most of my blogamigos have already expressed their happiness in their blogs. Step this meme to Antonio de Nosa Biblioteca (share his library Revitalization workshop also made me very happy), to Felipe Zayas with I've also coincided in the studio, JM Armayor , I've met in Ning, a Gonzalo de Darabuc , whose preciousness blog recently and I met Francesca Verd of Atelier de Feng Shui , I meme spent a few months ago I could not continue due to lack of time.

All ... Keep on being happy!

Dosonian Reflector 8in

The Firefox browser is a cane. Firefox extensions are a cane. I could put melodramatic and say that "because I could not live without my personalizadísimo Firefox extensions." Most useful for a language teacher: I l correction spelling. But there are many more, and continue to grow as bolets. "

The other day I read in blog Felipe Zayas the existence of Add-Art, a Firefox extension that turns out those annoying commercials side of pages of free services in a work of art.

This is how you see my website in the Classroom from the Explorer:

And so it is in Firefox Add-art extension enabled:

I have found that also works on Wikispaces. There

who think that these ads are not bothersome, but as a mother and teacher I am concerned that children and young people are surrounded by advertisements for "Chat hot" and other pages much less desirable. I think seriously the option of installing the add-on to computers on high school students.

Or maybe you could bring serial Linkat?

Sore Throat,shoulder,kidney

Add-Art Master

Today was a very special and emotional. A group of teachers have gathered to celebrate the retirement of Pepe Lopez, the first mate of mine who is retiring from the classroom. For me the excitement has been twofold, as I have been acting as companion and former student of hers. Among other things, we have given words, written by each of us, and bound into a book of memories. They still have mine:

rattles his fingers on the green table, while students are reading, as always, in silence. That's why the sight he will not want to the window and thought, at other times. Outside it's raining, and so little rain that seems to have come to water their last days in high school, to give a touch of nostalgia that is having this year ends. Remember

almost without trying its principles, even in times of dictatorship ... "I had not collejas in class! "seems to mean the act of half-smile that appears in the corner of his mouth. Many students then are now parents, workers, entrepreneurs. Looking

not say, but is about to retire. Do not say it always comes to school with a smile on the lips, and some funny comment to her colleagues ... "How do you teach the teacher!". And goes to class with the same energy, or more, that we have been a very long time unless he struggling with the students.

And that which has taken them to see in all colors. First as a teacher in a school neighborhood public, then and in high school, attend to the UAC, Classrooms Open or any other euphemism that the administration wants to label these students with others do not know what to do.

not use ICT, and ... needless truly makes him! I laugh of those who think that the teachers connect more young people are more motivated because they are closer to the reality of bit generation.

His students love him and respect him. Respect him because he represents to them the figure that, unfortunately, many lack: the authority that dictates what is right, and repressing what is wrong, with respect and through dialogue. It is the only teacher I have ever met that students of all generations call Mr. Smith.

Now we say goodbye to the partner (not the friend), and do it with an intimate celebration, nothing official. And everything is invested with a halo bittersweet. Pepe the joy of this well-deserved rest and feeling sorry for orphans left to us to which we must continue to soldier on without their advice.

Pepe, we wish you well.

Really Fast A3 Scanner

My first appointment ... Spanish Redhead

Yes, tomorrow I have my first appointment ... in Second Life. I stayed with the group members Second Life, Educational Applications , Internet network on Ning Classroom for a walk, tomorrow, Thursday 5 / 5, at 22 am on the Peninsula.

The truth is that I have not very clear. When I opened the account last year, at the request of my sister, I thought they were entering a sort of role-playing game to the Sims. I created the avatar MJO Quinnell.
The truth is that the good thing is that virtual reality takes away, and, without surgery or anything, 20 years and 20 pounds. For total, I noticed several times and supremely bored me, because I knew no one. I also felt, what Sabina sang, like a bullfighter on the other side ...

But look you where, after I read the blog of Bea Marin it can have educational applications and now Ferran Mas invites me to join the SL group of Congress.
Nothing, if the gods do not prevent it (are there gods in Second Life?) We'll be there tomorrow to see what we have prepared the hosts.

I still have it very clear, because I've tried entering the address they had given me, and I have come to a site written in Chinese characters, and Japanese ligerita clothes. He quickly tried to flee, seeking some urgency ... get, get, "Rome" teleported me and arrived at a reconstruction of a Pompeii quite rare, because seems the galleries of a shopping center with ... "Roman ligerita clothes"!

How Long Does A Jar Of Bubbles Last?

Since I have opened my blog As a queen, many people contacted me, I guess I stand to it by having my picture (real, but has chosen to go out a little with most favored ... trap may be made right?) and my email.

Well, I've already received several gifts through (or because) of the blog. The last was a book, on the day of Sant Jordi. This is English Redhead of Enrique Galindo (ed. Irreveretes) and I sent the author himself.
promised that when we read would give my opinion. Well here goes, Enrique.

The book has surprised me ... pleasantly. When I started reading I created expectations about the plot then not met. What would you think you begin a novel:

"I would write naked, on a white wall, wetting my penis in an inkwell and forming fine words on the wall ..."

Well this is not an erotic novel at all. It is a friendship between an old man who can barely fend by itself, and "Kangaroo", if the term can be used. In my opinion, the book is, in essence, of human loneliness, but the most cruel, which is not wanted, but imposed.

Two things could reproach Redheads. One, a first-person narrator is cast twice (at the beginning and towards the middle) and not just relate to the overall plot of the novel, narrated by an omniscient narrator.
The second, which is too short. It reads very quickly, and leaves you with the desire to continue seeing and living with the characters, their miseries, perhaps because of this need we have of happy ending, the hero down to hell and up, that evolve and redeem.

Thank you for your gift, Enrique. This novel has left me with the same sense of one who eats chocolate, and look all around the whole box. I hope your writing career is long and fruitful. Let me know when you write another book. I guess then you'll already a cache and I have to go buy it at the bookstore.

From the 2006-07 academic year our librarian Núria Reichardt we proposed to the components of language departments could jointly develop a portfolio of our students reading 1st cycle of ESO, to scroll gradually each year to add one more level, to complete the whole and high school. It was involved Project to Promote the Reading Núria Reichardt had driven this year 2006-07. This portfolio of reading is inspired by the European Language Portfolio, PEL1, which is an adaptation rather sui generis to the reality of our center.

PORTFOLIO WHAT IS READING?

currently is a folder that has two rings on the back the name of the student and the course that started 1 º ESO in high school. Contains plastic bags where they will keep all student work related to reading, from 1 to 4 of ESO or school, if applicable. Currently stored in the library.

The main purpose of the portfolio is that the student has evidence, physical evidence of the process of reading motivation. In the comparison between two different stages of the same activity is when students become aware of their learning. It is the students themselves reflect on their learning process (as far as reading is concerned in this case), and is an active subject of his own self. To do this, students write a statement read or review for each book you read, following this guide:

presciption

In addition there keep everything related to reading (works of authors about books on poetry, reading reviews, etc.). We chose this format, when the time in which the student leaves the center, you can bind it all and is in the form of chronological dossier, which is clearly visible the evolution of the student both in quantity / quality of their readings, and quantity / quality of their ratings, their changes in taste drive. It's about having "evidence" of the student's reading activity passing through the institute.

To move the student to think, use metacognitive questionnaires, which I attached a sample. We had at the end of the course, and after having answered, students write an introduction, an index and a conclusion to his portfolio and deliver everything in the folder.

Earlier I said that " currently "the portfolio is a physical folder (except reading our wiki), but we're toying with making the leap to digital, to what has been called" eportfolios "or" eportfolio "(in part this is fault that I'm in this workshop).

Endormetriosis And Wheat

By reading Portfolio official recognition of the work with ICT

The blogosphere is on fire. We were few, and we bore the Congress.
If you steal it cost me hours of sleep the night shift and treachery pasearme with the blogs of my "friends bloggers, imagine what it is trying to follow the very interesting discussion threads that are occurring both in the official website of Congress as in the parallel network, Internet Classroom Ning.

But I think there is a theme that affects us especially to all those who selflessly publish our experiences, our jobs, our materials. The official recognition of these publications.

is true that the net can find hundreds, thousands of personal pages, each one of his father or his mother, and not all have the same quality. But it is unbelievable and unacceptable that counts as publication scale when chorras merits a little article in the journal of a union (with all due respect for the work of trade unions) and that does not count, no nothing, for example, all material to be posted on Classroom Project. Total

that a group of bloggers led by Toni Solano (by the way, congratulations, Toni, for your first prize Spiral Edublogs ) Have mounted a campaign logos, wiki, collection of signatures and show that I adhered days ago.

I encourage everyone to just believe this initiative to the manifest and difundáis firméis its existence on the network.
